Exporting data from Insights in CX Social

Exporting Insights from CX Social is a crucial part to analyze the captured data. In this support article we will explain how exporting in the Insights works and how you can export. Additionally we will also explain how you can download previously exported Insights by using the Insight export History.

How to export CX Social Insights
If you want to export certain data from the Insights you can do this by clicking on the dropdown button in the upper right corner and selecting “Export”.  You will be able to export to any of the available formats from the list.

After selecting the format you can click export and a notification will tell you that you will receive an e-mail containing a link to download your export.

In the e-mail you will find a link which will allow you to download the export.
Insights export History
In case you are interested in the History of what exactly was exported in your account you can select “Export History”  from the dropdown menu.
When you click on Export History you will see a full overview of the 50 most recent exports. In most cases the users will only see their own exports except when you are an Administrator which allows you to see all the exports made in the account.

Anything in the Export History can be downloaded by clicking the download button. Depending on what exactly was exported at the time, the export will either be ready immediately or might take some time to generate.
You will notice a downloading icon in the upper tool bar (see screenshot) and once the download is ready you will again receive an e-mail that contains the link and allows you to download the export.
