In order to publish, comment, like, and moderate (delete and hide) on Facebook from within CX Social, you need to connect your Facebook page to CX Social as an authorized page*.
In order to make sure everything works like it should, you need to have a couple of important permissions on Facebook. Before connecting your Facebook Account to CX Social have a look at your personal user permissions and your Facebook page permissions.

Required Facebook User permissions
CX Social requires a couple of User permission on Facebook before it is possible to post and/or connect the page. You need to give the CX Social app the right permissions.
You can check this by going to your Facebook account and go to Settings.  In the left side bar select “Apps” and you should see an overview of all your personal apps.

Next, click on the Clarabridge CX Social application and a publish dialog box will appear showing the permissions of the application. Everything should be ticked off:

Manage Your Pages
This enables us to gather all data and analytics of all the pages you manage within CX Social.
Post On Your Behalf:
Enables CX Social to post content, comments, and likes as this page, i.e. this enables you to post on your Facebook page from within CX Social. Don't worry we won't be posting anything in your name.
Access Messages in Your Inbox:
Provides the ability for us to read from your Facebook page Inbox so you can check and respond to private messages from within CX Social.
Page Messages:
Allows CX Social to access the messages on your page.
Manage your Notifications:
Enables CX Social to read notifications and mark them as read.
Insights: Provides read access to the Insights data for pages and applications.
Required Facebook Page permissions
Next to Facebook User permissions you also need to have the correct Facebook page permissions in order to connect a Facebook page in CX Social. In order to connect a page you need to have the user role “Administrator” on the Facebook page.
If you have trouble connecting a Facebook page you can check your current role by doing the following:
First navigate to the Settings of your Facebook page. You can do this by simply going to your page or searching for you page in the search bar.

If you are in the settings, click on “Page Roles” to see what user role you have on the Facebook page. You need to be an Administrator in order to connect the page in CX Social.
Important: If you are unable to see the Page role page on Facebook, please ask your colleague or anyone from the company that has a higher role to check this for you.
If you everything is changed and set to the correct permissions you can go back to your CX Social account and connect the Facebook page. If you don’t remember how to connect pages you can read this article.
