Scheduling posts in CX Social
Preparing content, posts or campaigns and being able to schedule these on the required days is something that is very useful. In CX Social you have 2 options to schedule posts. In this article we will explain how you can start scheduling your posts. 
Additionally we will also go over some cool other features that will enable you to get a quick and simple overview of scheduled posts per source and how you can add notes

Scheduling via the Publisher tool
If you are ready to schedule a post in CX Social navigate yourself to the Publisher tab and click on the pen-and-paper-icon in the upper left corner.
Next a dialog box should appear where you are able to create and type your upcoming post. After adding the content and the correct profile click on the second icon, the calendar-icon, in the bottom left corner, which will display a date range and time function.
Here you should select the date and time on which you want to publish the post. If you’re done, simply click on the icon again to collapse the date range.  Your calendar icon should now be green and the button should have become “Schedule” instead of publish.

Scheduling via the Calendar
You can also use the Calendar option in CX Social to schedule your posts and or plan your content sharing activities efficiently.

Simply click on Calendar in the left side bar and you will get an overview of the most recent posts and the scheduled posts.
If you click on one of the posts in the overview you will be able to see more information and details of the post in a dialog box.
For example you are able to see when the content is scheduled as well as 5 more features: publish immediately, editing the post, deleting the post or copying the content, publishing it on another profile and adding notes to your content for your colleagues.
Hint: It is also possible to drag and drop the post from one day to another. Or just click on a day, an hour and schedule the post right away.
Comparing scheduled posts
The Calendar overview also allows you to compare. Every post in the Calendar is color-coded which allow you to quickly check and compare. You can compare the different sources, users, profile, tags or teams.
Comparing on Source:
When you compare on source the calendar will show you when content was posted on which profiles (=sources). The color code shows you when Facebook posts were published or when Tweets were send. 

Comparing on User Profile:
It is also possible to compare the different user profiles. On the calendar you will see who posted which message on which day.
On the other hand you can filter and compare the various profiles. For example you will be able to see from which of the four Facebook pages that are connected in your account the content was published. 

Comparing on Tags:
Also the tags you added to a specific post, get a color. In the calendar you will see the content posts are getting the color of the tag you added to those specific posts. You will be able to compare the time on which tagged content was published.

Comparing on Status:
You can also compare the different statuses of your posts. You can compare scheduled posts, already published posts, awaiting approval posts and drafts. Depending on the status of the post it will get a different color your calendar. 
Comparing on Publishing Activity:
You can compare the publishing activity of the different CX Social users. Each user will have a different color and you will get a quick overview of who scheduled or published what posts.
