What is the Command Center?
 

The Command Center is a very handy presentation mode with which you can show certain pages and statistics from within CX Social. With the Command Center, you can create a fullscreen rotation between the pages and results that you want to show. So this comes in very handy when you want to give a presentation, or when you want to show your most interesting analytics and mentions at e.g. you annual reception for clients, or at an event etc. In the Command Center, you can now create a fullscreen rotation between the pages you want to show. You can find this feature in your settings > account settings > command center.
 

How to set up the Command Center? 


To set up a rotation, click ‘Add Command Center View’.
 
 
  • Then you choose the title for the rotation of the pages you want to show.
  • In the ‘layout’ section, you can choose if you want to show your pages in one, two or three columns.
  • With the ‘delay’ function, you can define the interval between the different pages. 
  • You can also (optionally) add you own logo.
     

Then you can add your pages you want to see. To do this, click the ‘add’ button, and all the options will appear in the ‘url’ field. You can also filter these pages on certain characteristics/keywords through the filter function. When you’re done, click ‘save’ and you’re all set! 
 

 

Add custom dashboards to your Command Center


Very good to know is that you can also add custom dashboards to your Command Center. This is very useful if you only want to combine several charts/tables/visuals on one single page. Just add them as widgets to a custom dashboard (here you will find more information about how to set up a custom dashboard) and include that custom dashboard as a page in your Command Center. 
 

Add custom charts to your Command Center


A bit more advanced, but you can also include custom charts (find out here how to build custom charts) in your Command Center. Set up a custom chart (make sure to save it as a template!), add it to a custom dashboard, and add this custom dashboard to your Command Center. This is very useful at events, e.g. if you want to show which speaker generates most buzz.
