In the Profile Metrics section, you have two important parts: the social profile metrics and other profile metrics based on flip cards. If you immediately want to read more about social profile metrics, you click here. And if you are interested in the flip cards, you click here.

Social Profile Metrics

In the social profile metrics section, you will find an overview of the most important metrics for each social profile that has been connected to the topic(s) you’ve selected on top of the Insights page. When you select one of your connected social profiles, you will only see the metrics for that specific profile. If you select an entire topic, you will see all connected, social profiles.

Fans

The Growth metric shows you the total number of fans (Facebook), followers (Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Vimeo, Tumblr, Soundcloud, Mixcloud), subscribers (YouTube), visitors (Foursquare), and users (TripAdvisor). The figure next to the green bar is the total number of fans / followers / subscribers / visitors / users at the end of the selected date range.

The percentage underneath it is the total growth of the number of fans / followers / subscribers / visitors / users during the whole date range (calculated as number of followers on the last day of the date range -  number of followers on first day of the date range).

You also have the option to sort your social profiles based on:

  • Fans: profiles with the most fans / followers will be on top of the list and the profiles with the least fans / followers will be at the bottom of the list - during the selected date range on top of the Insights page.

  • New Fans: profiles with the most, new fans / followers will be on top of the list and the profiles with the least new fans / followers will be at the bottom of the list - during the selected date range on top of the Insights page.

  • Growth Rate: profiles with the highest growth rate during the select date range on top of the Insights page will be shown on top of the list, and pages with the lowest growth rate during the selected date range will be shown on the bottom of the list.

  • Average Growth / Day: profiles with the highest average growth per day during the select date range on top of the Insights page will be shown on top of the list, and pages with the lowest average growth rate per day during the selected date range will be shown on the bottom of the list.

 Profile Activity

Here, you will find the explanation of those 3 metrics for each social profile.
  • Profile posting activity is the number of times a profile posted something.

  • Profile response activity is the number of times a profile engaged with their audience on a post they made or on a post made by one of their fans.

You also have the option to sort your social profiles based on:

  • Profile Activity: profiles with the highest profile activity during the selected date range on top of the Insights page will be shown on top of the list, profiles with the lowest profile activity during the selected date range will be shown on the bottom of the list.

  • Profile Posting Activity: profiles with the highest profile posting activity during the selected date range on top of the Insights page will be shown on top of the list, profiles with the lowest profile posting activity during the selected date range will be shown on the bottom of the list.

  • Profile Response Activity: profiles with the highest profile response activity during the selected date range on top of the Insights page will be shown on top of the list, profiles with the lowest profile response activity during the selected date range will be shown on the bottom of the list.

Engagement

  • The Engagement by Community is the number of times your community engaged with your posts. In addition to engagement by the community, we also calculate the post engagement rate and the fan engagement rate.

  • Post Engagement Rate gives an indication of how engaged your community is with the content you post: Post Engagement Rate = (# Engagement / # posts (by the profile)) x 100

  • The Fan Engagement Rate gives an indication of how engaged your fans are (comparison of the amount of engagement with the number of fans your page has): Fan Engagement rate = (# Engagement / # fans) x 100

For example, if you have 100 fans, and the amount of engagement is 150, then you have a fan engagement rate of 150%. If, however, you have 1000 fans with an engagement of 150, then your fan engagement rate will only be 15%)

An @reply is a tweet that answers to a previous tweet of the profile: e.g. @clarabridge tweeted 'we love sunshine' => then an @reply would be: '@clarabridge, yes what a lovely day') *A HT tweet: HT usually means "hat tip". Other Profile Metrics

The Flip Card feature allows you to flip certain profile metrics charts. The flip switch is displayed (if available) when hovering over a chart. There are two options to show the extra KPI data. When you click on the "View Details" button you will see - for example - the 'total' or 'difference'

Here's an example of Twitter Followers KPI flip card:

When you look at some Flip Cards there is even a third button. When toggling this button CX Social creates a summary of all profiles in the Flip Card. We will demonstrate this with the example below:

The Chart View:
Chart with all followers for every Twitter profile you've selected.

The Details View:
Detailed table view with the total of new followers (during the date range you've filtered on) for every Twitter profile you've selected.

The Summary View:
The total sum of new followers for every Twitter profile you've selected.

FlipCcards are enabled on all components which have the toggle icons (KPI view - Chart view) in the top right.
